Request for Hero UI v3 Stable Release Timeline
Dear HeroUI Team, I hope all is going well with the ongoing implementation of Hero UI v3. I wanted to kindly ask if you could share the expected timeline for the stable release. I noticed that several features are still pending in the v3 beta 3 version, and having clarity on the release schedule would greatly assist us in planning our work accordingly. Thank you in advance for your support, and I look forward to your update. Warm regards, Hemkanta Mehra
Surface color doubts
Hello there! First of all amazing work on heroUI v3! We are working with designers that are using the Figma v3 toolkit ( https://www.figma.com/community/file/1546526812159103429 ) and we noticed that the design system on figma is still using surface[1|2|3] colors while the website documentation refers to a single surface color ( https://v3.heroui.com/docs/handbook/colors#base-colors ). We are trying to understand which one is correct, any info about that? can we still use surface variants? We have noticed that the new Surface component provides 4 variants (default, secondary, …) but these are not matching any figma defined variable, any clarification on that? Thanks in advance
Revert `variant` handling in V3
HeroUI is a great library, the best I might say. I’ve been a user for years both on the web and even on desktop with apps like Rclone UI, also joined the PRO membership. In essence, I love your work, and I want this great relationship to continue ❤️ We have to talk about the new variant handling, specifically about danger. One thing I disliked about all other libraries is they made danger/red as a variant instead of a color. HeroUI V2 handled it best by having it as a color. btw, shadow variant will be missed too, but I get the reasons to remove it. danger however is a different thing and needs to be looked at imo. The V3 Chip component has danger as a color prop, as it should. These differences hurt both users and llms. Thanks
